On November 2, 2020, entertainment site OSEN reported that the BIGBANG leader has recently been preparing for a solo album.

While details of the album have yet to be confirmed, South Korean agency YG Entertainment asserted that the G-Dragon is indeed “working on new music.”

It can be recalled that G-Dragon's last solo album, titled “Kwon Ji Yong,” was in 2017, which became the best-selling album and the first by a Korean soloist to spend multiple weeks in the Billboard World Albums chart.
