The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed how we live our life, do our work, and socialize with friends. Adjusting to the "new normal" may be hard for most people. Still, it is especially harder for high schoolers as they explore the ups and downs of life and begin to enter the world of adulthood, all while experiencing anxiety because of the lockdown.

In the coming-of-age series Kaibigan: The Series, David Santos (Jesse Perkins), Jake Anderson (Christian Perkins), Kylie Kino (Janina Vela), and Anna Torres (Lianne Valentin) are four friends trying to navigate life in the time of COVID-19: facing issues, chasing goals, and dealing with family problems.

Fortunately for them, they have each other's backs as they realize that the only way to survive the pandemic is to lean on each other, albeit virtually.

The 13-episode Kaibigan: The Series will help us understand how people from all walks of life try to stay afloat and adjust to the new normal. Each episode also has a theme that discusses a wide range of topics from anxiety and coping to friendship and bullying.

Kaibigan: The Series will air on GMA starting December 5, Saturday, at 8:45 a.m.
