This Monday, November 23, Kapuso rom-com series My Korean Jagiya will be making its much-awaited return on GMA Telebabad!

In an exclusive interview with South Korean entertainer Alexander Lee, one of the show's lead stars, he shared with us his reaction upon finding out about My Korean Jagiya's return.

"I was very surprised and glad because everyone could have a second chance to watch it!

"Especially in times like this (COVID-19, typhoons, etc.), this could definitely bring happiness, laughter, and comfort! MKJ was so phenomenal that we have to share this blessing with more people!"

The series ran from August 2017 to January 2018, still, the tight-knit bond formed by the My Korean Jagiya cast remains the same. In fact, Xander revealed that they do actually have a group chat where they like to keep in touch with one another.

"From time to time, we would say hi to each other or chat a bit in our MKJ group chat. Yes! We have a group chat because we became a real family just like in the drama. Such a blessing."

Lastly, Xander left a message for his Kapuso fans, inviting them to catch the return of My Korean Jagiya on GMA Telebabad.

"To all my Kapuso fans out there, I hope all of you are coping well with the pandemic and typhoon and any challenges in life. Whether this is your first time watching MKJ or rewatching again, I hope you can all enjoy and feel the kilig-ness in it! Stay safe and keep smiling! Miss you all!

"To all my Filipino fans out there, please don't be discouraged by the natural disaster and keep your faith! Good or bad, everything happens for a reason and God is always here for you. Stay strong, stay safe, and always stay healthy! Will be keeping you in prayers! Ingat po! Fighting!"

Last Wednesday, November 18, Xander reunited with his castmates Heart Evangelista, Valeen Montenegro, and Myke Salomon on Kapuso ArtisTambayan where they reminisced about their favorite memories together.

Don't miss the rerun of My Korean Jagiya on GMA Telebabad, starting this Monday, November 23, after Descendants of The Sun (The Philippine Adaptation).
