By Cara Emmeline Garcia

K-pop boy group BTS has finally earned their very first Grammy nomination on Tuesday, November 24, with its members sharing their live reaction upon hearing the news via their Twimtter account.

In the small clip, we see members V, Jungkook, RM, and Jimin side-by-side, waiting for their band's name to be called.

After their name was called under the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their hit “Dynamite,” V expressed a shocked face while the other three jumped with excitement.

Other names included in the list are J. Balvin's “Un Dia,” Justin Bieber's “Intentions,” Lady Gaga's “Rain on Me,” and Taylor Swift's “Exile.”

Since the announcement, BTS member V went public on WeVerse to announce his new title as “Grammy-nominated BTS member Kim Taehyung.”

This year has been entirely fruitful for the K-pop boy group as they have achieved so much in 2020, despite the pandemic.

This year alone, their pop song “Dynamite” has earned accolades, including No. 1 at the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200, a Guinness World Record for the fastest YouTube video to hit 101.1 million views first 24 hours, and so much more.
