Bankable TV-movie actor Derek Ramsay expresses his profound love toward his parents after experiencing difficult days due to his breakup with Andrea Torres.
After a firestorm of headlines and controversy surrounding his breakup with Kapuso leading lady Andrea Torres, Derek Ramsay took to Instagram to thank his parents for being his support group.
The TV and movie actor is the son of former British detective inspector Derek Ramsay Sr. and Fil-Spanish Remedios “Medy” Paggao, who hails from Ilocos Norte and Isabela.
On Instagram, Derek expressed his heartfelt gratitude toward his dad and mom for loving him unconditionally no matter what.
He shared, “Thank you Lord for my parents who are always there for me and love me unconditionally. Mum and Dad thank you for everything you have done for me and the family.
“Thank you for keeping me strong, thank you for believing in me and thank you for protecting me. #sticksandstonescanbreakmybonesbutwordswillneverhurtme.”
Several celebrities reacted to Derek's heartwarming post on Instagram including fashion designer Michael Cinco and Vina Morales.
Last November 19, Derek Ramsay confirmed that he and Andrea parted ways and denied that there was a third party involved.
