The 'Kita Kita' tandem will start filming soon for 'Walang Ka-Paris.'
“Ang pagbabalik… ng economy class tandem.”
Alessandra de Rossi happily wrote on Instagram with an accompanying publicity photo of her with comedian Empoy Marquez.
Alex (Alessandra's nickname) was teasing about her reunion project with Empoy titled Walang Ka-Paris.
A separate post by Alex again showed her with Empoy but this time with the funny caption: “Never ko inexpect na makakatambal ko si Johnny Depp. Pero hashtag blessed nalang! Salamat sa chance @sigridandreapbernardo! @empoy and the universe! #alempoy.
The movie's director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo also shared the pictures on social media.
Sigrid directed Alex and Empoy in the 2017 hit romantic comedy film Kita Kita.
The movie's commercial and critical success prompted Spring Films and Viva Films to bring back the unusual tandem in response also to clamor from fans.
Sigrid had previously said that Walang Ka-Paris is not a sequel to Kita Kita.
But like Kita Kita, the film will be shot outside of the Philippines, this time in Paris, France thus the title.
