Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys are here to save 2020 with their new song, 'Matches.'
It's a match made in heaven as '90s pop icons Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys collab for a new track!
Titled “Matches,” the track is part of Britney's deluxe version of her 2016 album “Glory,” which dropped earlier today, December 11.
On Instagram, Britney wrote, “'Matches' featuring my friends @BackstreetBoys is out now! I'm so excited to hear what you think about our song together.
“The love you guys have shown this album this year has been stupid amazing… like I can't even believe it. I hope it brings you joy. God bless you all!”
Meanwhile, the iconic '90s boy band wrote in their Instagram account, “What a glorious day it is… we've been asked about the possibility of a collab like this for the past 20 years and today is the day! “Britney x Backstreet is finally here! #Matches is out now on @britneyspears' Glory Deluxe!”
“Matches “ is a dance track that is very reminiscent of the good ol' '90s, with Britney's iconic voice harmoniously coinciding with the boy band's melodious vocals.
The song follows the single “Swimming In The Stars” that was released on December 2, in celebration of Britney's 39th birthday.
