Three masked men were caught on CCTV climbing over a fence and breaking into a house in Dagupan City, stealing jewelry and liquor before escaping through the back door, police said.

The incident happened at around 2 a.m. on August 12, 2026, in Sitio Sta. Maria, Barangay Bonuan Boquig, where CCTV footage showed the three men entering the property and searching several rooms.

One of the suspects entered through a small bathroom window, then opened a bedroom window to let the other two inside. The three searched the rooms before leaving several minutes later with the stolen items.

The house owner is currently abroad. Caretaker Michael Angelo Estrada discovered the break-in the following morning after finding the back door open and belongings scattered inside the house.

Dagupan City Police Station 6 Commander PCpt. Nicodemus Cabais said police went to the site to investigate after the incident was reported.

The suspects reportedly took jewelry and liquor. Police have yet to determine the total value of the stolen items. Estrada said the family initially identified jewelry left inside the bedroom as among the missing belongings.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing and that they have a lead on the identity of one of the suspects. Officers are also conducting a hot pursuit operation to locate the men.

Ongoing pa yung hot pursuit sa mga kawatan,” he said.

Authorities reminded homeowners to keep all doors and windows locked and consider installing alarm devices for additional security.
