4 Things you don't want to miss on 'Where Stars Land'

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

The newest GMA Heart of Asia Where Stars Land will be landing very soon on GMA News TV, bringing K-drama actors Lee Je-hoon and Chae Soo-bin for the first time on Philippine TV.

Chae Soo-bin stars as Summer, a clumsy but fiery young woman who joins the Customer Service Department at Incheon International Airport. There, she meets Jason (played by the amazing Lee Je-hoon), an elite employee keeping a deep secret.

While waiting for its premiere on our TV screens, here are some things you can look forward to about the drama.

1. A tall, dark, and handsome lead

It's not very common for K-drama actors to be as perfect as Lee Je-hoon, who ticks three of our favorite features: tall, dark, and handsome. In Where Stars Land, his character Jason piques viewers' curiosity with his mysterious past, so it's very important that you tune in to see what that is and why he's hiding it.

2. A couple of badass bosses

We love female characters who embody the word “power.” Here, Korean actress Kim Jee-soo will catch your eye as the badass boss named Arianne, the Passenger Service team manager. Unlike the other employees, Arianne knows everything about Jason and cares for him like her younger brother.

Besides Kim Jee-soo, actor Lee Dong-gun also stars in the drama as the level-headed team manager of the Airport Planning and Operation Team named Raymond. He is also Jason's stepbrother, so it's up to you to find out if he's a loving stepbrother or not.

3. Amazing side characters

Also, we think you'll also fall in love with other side characters like the Security Team, the Ramp Control team, the Customer Service Department, and so on.

Like in real life, there are so many people to meet and learn about in Where Stars Land who play a role in Jason and Summer's love story.

4. Lauren Young and Ejay Falcon's cameo

In 2018, Kapuso actress Lauren Young flew to Korea to guest star in the K-drama series. Ejay Falcon played the role of Ian, a Filipino trying to get to Korea via a forged passport. On the other hand, Lauren portrays Ejay's wife, who is about to give birth at Incheon airport.

Catch the Philippine premiere of Where Stars Land this December 21 only on GMA News TV.
