Kim Hee-ae, Hyun Bin, Park Seo-joon, and Park Bo-gum voted by Korean public as top celebrities of 2020
Korean celebrities Kim Hee-ae, Park Bo-gum, Hyunbin, and Park Seo-joon emerged at the top of Gallup Korea's list of actors and actresses who shined the brightest on-screen this year. They were voted as the top Korean actors who succeeded in 2020, according to Gallup Korea's public poll.
Kim Hee-ae emerged highest on the list with 9.4% of the votes. She starred in the 2019 drama The World of the Married. At the second spot is actor Park Bo Gum with 7.6% of votes. He recently starred in the drama Record of Youth and is currently serving his mandatory military service in South Korea.

Meanwhile, third on the list is Hyun Bin with 6.5%. He was recently seen as the lead actor in the hit drama series Crash Landing on You. At the fourth spot is Park Seo-joon with 5.9% who starred in Itaewon Class.
While Kim Hee-ae and Hyun Bin have not yet visited the Philippines, Hyun Bin was scheduled to visit the country for his local telco ad endorsement but plans were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions and safety protocols.
He was also a recipient of a prestigious recognition from the South Korean government. The award is the Presidential Citation given by the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards.
On the other hand, Park Seo-joon and Park Bo-gum both visited the Philippines in 2019 as part of their local clothing brand endorsement on separate occasions.

Other actors and actresses on the list include Son Ye-jin (4.6%) of Crash Landing on You, Bae Suzy (4.3%) of Start-Up, Jun In-hwa (4.1%) of Homemade Love Story, Cha Hwa-yeon (3.2%) of Once Again, and award-winning celebrities Gong Yoo and Gong Hyo-jin.
Gallup Korea, is an organization dedicated to analytics and consumer trends. They annually hold multiple polls to find out which artists are most popular with TV drama and music fans.
This year's polls were conducted from November 5 to 29, 2020. Gallup Korea conducted a poll with an estimated 1,700 number of participants over the age of 13. The participants were asked to name up to two TV actors or actresses who shined the brightest on-screen this year.
