Cong TV and Viy Cortez lose baby just days after learning of pregnancy
On December 18, vlogger Viy Cortez shared an emotional video simply titled "BLESSING" on her YouTube channel.
In the video, she revealed that she recently learned that she was pregnant but lost the baby just a few days after.
The baby she miscarried would have been her and boyfriend and fellow vlogger Cong TV's first child.
"Noong December 12, nalaman namin ni Cong, nalaman ko muna na buntis ako. Tapos pinakita ko rin kay Cong, sobrang saya niya na nalaman niya na buntis ako. Tapos nagpa-check up kami, nalaman ko na six weeks pregnant na ako noong December 12," she says in the video.
Viy and Cong immediately told their families about the pregnancy. They also began with plans for the baby.
However, Viy suffered bleeding on December 18, the date of their 'monthsary,' and ehat she was dreading actually came true.
"Kahapon nakunan ako. At ngayong araw na-confirm na wala na talaga. Nakunan pala talaga ako kahapon noong dinugo ako," she said.
Viy says she shared her story to be able to keep memories of their baby who she fondly called "Kidlat."
"Gusto ko lang talaga magkuwento para kahit papaano mayroon siyang memories sa akin kahit saglit lang. Ganoon pala 'yung pakiramdam no?" she says while crying.
She remains hopeful for the future and will embrace further blessings in the future.
"Dumating siya. Dumating is Kidlat. Dumating siya pero hindi pa siguro ngayon 'yung time. Magkakaroon ng Kidlat vesion two siguro sa sususnod, sa tamang panahon," Viy shares.

Viy and her boyfriend Cong TV or Lincoln Velasquez in real life have recently moved to their new home.
They chronicled the move in a recent vlog.
They were both hailed as "breakout creators" by YouTube for 2020. Cong topped the list while Viy trailed on the second spot.
A "breakout creator" is someone who has grown his or her channel by gaining a significant number of in-country subscribers during the year.
