Ritz Azul Joseph Marco in The Missing

Watch 'The Missing,' the only horror film in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

Regal Entertainment continues the company's tradition of producing horror movies for Metro Manila Film Festival with its entry in this year's edition, The Missing, starring Ritz Azul, Joseph Marco, and Miles Ocampo.

During the show's digital conference, the three lead stars admitted that their shooting in Saga, Japan would be memorable, mainly because some of the scenes in the movie left them feeling spooked to this day.

"Pero siyempre, 'di ba, pagka-horror po 'yung ginagawa niyo, for some reasons, mayroong horror feels kang mararamdaman while filming it.

Meanwhile, Joseph admitted that he doesn't usually feel scared while on location, but the house in the film was definitely something that's not easy to forget.

He said, "Ako naman, malayo ako sa ganyan, 'yung mga nakakaramdam ng negative spirits."

"Pero, I think, 'yung house na nakuha namin for the location is ang bigat nung feeling ko doon. And I think it is a perfect location for the movie.

"And there's one scene na natakot ako kasi I was watching with direk [Easy Ferrer,] 'yung ginagawa niya 'yung nasa labas siya ng bahay, so it was, I think late na rin 'nun at ang lamig lamig pa.

In the movie, Ritz portrayed the 28-year-old architect, Iris, who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder and hallucinations, aftering losing her younger sister to a kidnapping incident.

Joseph plays Job, who calls on her ex-lover Iris to go to Japan for a restoration job of an old house while Miles portrays Len, an intern of Job.
