Arra San Agustin reveals she's ambidextrous, talks about role in 'Lolong'
Kapuso star Arra San Agustin is the recently featured artist on GMA Artist Center's "In the Limelight" online exclusive video.
When asked, "What's one thing a lot of people don't know about you?" Arra answered, "I'm ambidextrous which means I'm able to use both my right and left hand."
She added, "And then kapag kumakain ako, kapag nagkakamay ako, laging left 'yung gamit ko. Pero kapag naka-utensils naman ako, 'yung kutsara ko nasa right and 'yung fork ko nasa left. So magkaiba siya," dagdag ni Arra.
She also shared she has always wanted to be a celebrity. "Yes. Kapag umaalis kami ng mommy ko before, natatandaan ko dinadala niya ako with her friends tapos 'yung mga friends niya tatanungin ako kung ano ang gusto kong maging when I grow up and [being] an actor would always be on the list. Marami akong gusto pero laging may kasamang actor.
"I was always fascinated with actors and their lifestyle and how they act. Natutuwa lang ako, very interesting.
"When I was in elementary gumagawa kami ng movies, video cam lang ng mommy ko 'yung gamit ko. 'Yung first movie namin, ako ang nag-di-direct. Tapos yung mga kasunod kasama na ako sa nag-a-act. My cousins and I would even make screen names for ourselves, kasi feel namin maging actors."
She also credits her recent role as Audrey in Madrasta as her biggest break so far.
When asked about her biggest accomplishment to date, Arra answered, "Definitely, Madrasta. That is a title role. Alam mo 'yung 10 years... 20 years from now, so on and so forth. I will always look back to my experience na 'yun as my very first title role na ako 'yung bida. Sobrang accomplishment and proud moment ko 'yun. Super achievement 'yun for me."
"Hinding hindi ko palalampasin na ikuwento ito sa mga apo ko na nagkaroon ako ng title role.
Arra also described her role in the upcoming Kapuso show Lolong as Nadine as something different from her previous roles.
"Nadine is a very assertive, hardworking, independent woman. Abangan n'yo siya kasi iba ito sa usual roles ko kasi magkakaroon siya ng konting spice and twist. So 'yun 'yung abangan niyo. Kasi ako excited at looking forward din ako sa magiging ugali ni Nadine, sa magiging experiences at istorya niya."
Behind her sweet girl image, Arra says her interest and hobbies vary and she's actually an adventurous person and dreams of building her own business.
"I love baking. I fell in love with baking. Ito 'yung pinagkakaabalahan ko kapag wala akong ibang ginagawa.
"Gusto ko i-practice so I can make a business of my own. That's also one of my dreams, magkaroon ako ng sarili kong business."

She added, "I love singing, I like playing my ukulele although I only know basic songs and I only learned how to play from YouTube. I love the ocean.
"So mahilig akong mag-beach, mahilig akong mag-scuba dive. Mahilig akong tumambay lang sa beach at mag-swimming."
What's one thing on her bucket list? "To see the Northern Lights 'yun 'yung dream kong mapuntahan. I bet maiiyak ako kapag makita ko yung Aurora Borealis."
