Miriam Quiambao is pregnant with second child at 45!
Former beauty queen and TV personality Miriam Quiambao just broke the news of her pregnancy with her husband, Ardy Roberto, on the latter's latest YouTube vlog.
In a video titled "MY MS UNIVERSE WIFE IS PREGNANT AT 45 | Wow! Is anything too difficult for the Lord?," the couple shared the story of their "prayer" turned reality.
Prior to finding out about the good news, Miriam recalled experiencing tell-tale symptoms of pregnancy.
"Nagulat na lang ako kasi November, nag-skip ako ng period. So I was counting the days, sabi ko 'Ang tagal na.'
"Tapos 'yung mga symptoms ko before with Elijah (the couple's first-born son) like tenderness of the breast, 'di ko nararamdaman. Pero, ang napapansin ko, parang lagi akong hapong-hapo, parang lagi akong pagod, feeling ko tamad ako, parang gusto ko lang matulog. 'Yun ang naramdaman ko.
"Tapos hindi naman ako nasusuka, by God's grace, kahit kay Elijah, hindi ko naramdaman 'yung pagsusuka na 'yon. Walang indication except for the missed period," she said.
After taking a pregnancy test, the two were delighted to learn that Miriam is actually with child.
According to Ardy, they have been praying and planning to have another kid since the birth of their son, Elijah, last February 2019. However, they weren't actually trying as seriously due to the challenges brought about by the current pandemic.
They were then surprised to have their prayers answered so quickly now that they have a new one on the way. And at age 45, Miriam considers this child of hers to be a "miracle baby."
"Another miracle ito 'di ba? Imagine, 45 years old na ako, 1 to 2 percent chances again of getting pregnant. Tapos ito, wala pang mga work ups, spontaneous pregnancy siya."
Aside from Elijah and their baby-to-be, Miriam and Ardy also have their eldest kid named Joshua, Ardy's adopted son with his late wife.
With the news of their new pregnancy, they hope to inspire others to remain faithful.
