Latest pictures confirm 'La La Land' star Emma Stone pregnancy rumors

By Bong Godinez

Hollywood actress Emma Stone flaunted her baby bump as she casually strolled in Los Angeles.

The photos published by the UK's Daily Mail last January 4 and taken on December 30 saw the actress walking with a friend while occasionally touching her pronounced belly.

The 32-year-old actress is reportedly pregnant with her first child with husband, comedian Dave McCary.

Emma and Dave, who met on the set of Saturday Night Live, married in secret last year

Rumors about the pregnancy has been going around for quite some time already, with the actress refusing to acknowledge the reports.

Her latest photos, however, revealed that the gossips were indeed true.

Emma, who according to a Daily Mail source “loves married life,” dropped out of a film project with Brad Pitt as reported last month due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Meanwhile, a report from E! News today, January 7, said that the La La Land and Birdman star is happily embracing motherhood and domestic life.

A source told the entertainment news program that Emma is “very excited about her pregnancy and what's to come.”

“She has always wanted a family and can't wait to be a mom. She's felt very lucky that she got to be at home during this period of time and wasn't working long days on set.”

Emma and Dave started dating in October 2017. The notoriously low-key couple got engaged in December 2019.

Dave posted on Instagram a photo of himself and Emma wearing the engagement ring along with a pink heart emoji caption.

It was in September 2020 when reports came out that the two exchanged “I do's” in a private ceremony.

As with her pregnancy, Emma along with Dave did not issue a statement to confirm the wedding.

Emma initially said that she's not into the idea of being a wife and mother when she was younger.

That all changed though as she got older.

“My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older,” Emma said in an Elle interview in September 2018.

“I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, 'I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids.' And then I got older and I was like, 'I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.'”

Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Emma has appeared in the movies The Amazing Spider-Man opposite Andrew Garfield, The Croods, Battle of Sexes, and the Netflix dark comedy series, Maniac.

Emma won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal as an aspiring actress in the musical film La La Land released in 2016.
