Pokwang sets the record straight about an unauthorized and misleading post on Facebook claiming that she and her husband Lee O'Brian met on a dating site.

Pokwang took notice of a Facebook post by a user named Marl B. Mendoza on the group “Filipino Women looking for Foreign Husband.”

The netizen introduced herself as the comedienne's friend and claimed that the latter and her husband met on a Filipino dating site she administers. She made the post to attract other hopeful netizens to sign up on the website and meet their future partners online, assuring that her platform is free and safe.

However, Pokwang called the post deceiving. She further denied the netizen's assertion, saying she doesn't know Marl and that she didn't meet Lee on any dating site.

She wrote, “Hindi ko po siya friend at hindi po kami sa dating site nagkakilala ni papang @leeobrian. Sa movie po kami nagkakilala, ang Edsa Woolworth na produced ng TFC at directed by @johndlazatin.”

She also called out the netizen and threatened her by calling the attention of the NBI.

Pokwant continued, saying, “Mga maggagantso!!!! Wag ganon!!!! Attention #NBI sino po pwede kausapin para ipahanap ito?”

Pokwang and Lee met on the set of the mentioned movie back in 2014. The actress took the title role while her husband portrayed her love interest as Chad Bauer.

Lee pursued Pokwang after their movie was released on the silver screen, and their relationship gave birth to a little girl, their baby Malia in 2018. The comedienne also has an older daughter, Ria Mae from her previous relationship.
