Christian Bautista's revival of NSYNC classic 'This I Promise You' brings nostalgia

By Jansen Ramos

Before 2020 ended, Christian Bautista surprised fans with a new revival release.

The Asia's Romantic Balladeer dropped a remake of NSYNC's hit ballad, "This I Promise You."

Christian put his own flavor into the 2000 classic, singing all the '90s-'00s boy band members' parts in the song cover.

In an Instagram post shared last December 18, he vowed to create more music despite the restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alongside the cover photo of his new single. Christian wrote, "Friends, despite the distance, I promise to reach out to you with music. Despite the absence, I promise to let you feel that I am near. Thank you for doing the same for me.

"What a year this has been. What will next year bring? More music. More connection. More reasons to stay together.

"This I promise you."

Christian Bautista's remake of "This I Promise You" is now available for download and streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and other digital stores.
