Ryu Hye-young and Hyeri

Actress Ryu Hye-young sent a coffee truck to her former co-star Hyeri, who was filming for a new drama.

Actress and singer Hyeri thanked her Reply 1988 co-star Ryu Hye-young for sending her a coffee truck in her filming location for her upcoming drama My Roommate is a Gumiho.

Hyeri took to Instagram to post photos with the truck while also tagging Ryu Hye-young and shared that her "sister" sent her coffee and sandwiches and that Ryu Hye-young is the best.

Korean stars have a history of sending each other coffee and food trucks in each other's filming locations to show support.

The two girls starred in the 2015 drama Reply 1988, a romantic-comedy family drama about childhood friends and their families living in the same neighborhood.

Hye-young and Hyeri played sisters Sung Bora and Sung Deok-sun, who loved each other a lot despite bickering often. The drama also starred Park Bo-gum, Ryu Jun-yeol, Go Kyung-pyo, and Ahn Jae-hong, among others.

In 2020, some of the cast of Reply 1988 reunited and hung out before Park Bo-gum entered the military in August.

Recently, Korean singer Taeyeon also sent a coffee truck for Hyeri.

She wrote in Instagram caption, "My Kim Taeng-goo (Taeyeon's nickname) who I love. Today was the coldest day ever, and you sent a coffee truck and churros like this...Crying because I'm so touched…Thank you, Taeyeon unnie is the best, hooray!!!"

Hyeri's new drama My Roommate Is A Gumiho will show the story of a Lee Dam, a straightforward college student who has never experienced having a boyfriend. She meets a male nine-tailed fox or a gumiho, Shin Woo-yeo, played by Jang Ki-yong. He is a 999-year-old mythical creature who wants to become a real human. One day, Lee Dam swallows Shin Woo-yeo's jewelry and this changes her life completely.
