Jomari Yllana called out by ex-partner for alleged unpaid electric bills

Actor and Parañaque councilor Jomari Yllana is being called out by his ex-partner, Joy Reyes, for allegedly not helping her pay their electric bill.

In an appeal on Instagram last Saturday, January 16, Joy posted a series of photos addressing her claim that the actor-turned-politician hasn't given her a cent to pay their due bills, which amounted to a total of P100,238.38.

She said in one post, “Our electric service from Meralco is disconnected today. Obviously, our bill has been neglected for several months… almost a year for it to reach this massive amount.”

According to Joy, government officials should not “take advantage of the leniency of the no-disconnection policy” implemented by their electric service providers because it is meant to help those financially disabled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She added, “But the terrible part of this gross, gross negligence is a father's apathy towards his own children. That is totally sickening!”

Joy exclaimed, “Since he blocked all means of communication, to those who know this guy, kindly inform this 'honorable' councilor of District 1 Parañaque Jomari Yllana that his children are sweating in the dark, and this is making it worse for Fangio, who's been having fever for many days now.

“[There are] so many issues of abuse that I'm trying so hard not to mind for the time being but directly harming the babies this way can't be tolerated.”

In another post, it seemed that Joy's plea had reached the actor, to which he responded, “Sana ginagamit din ang isip paminsan-minsan. Nakapag-post sa FB, nakapag picture sa cellphone. May charge ang cellphone at may internet. O, 'di ba? Naputulan ng kuryente pero nakapag-post at may internet. Sana all.”

In another post, Joy said that the actor is discrediting the truth, which led her to share a video of their children in the dark with nothing but emergency lights on.

“Lemme get this straight,” she began.

“Does he really mean since namatay ang kuryente sa bahay, automatic dapat patay rin ang cellphone ko?

“Here, I'm not really in the position to educate the uneducated, so somebody kindly explain to this person how mobile phones and mobile data work, how these gadgets have a battery life independent of the electric supply in your house.

“The pathetic attempt to again discredit the truth has its boomerang effect, and it's best to stop trying to make these people feel stupid by telling them to think when obviously, it's apparent who's actually looking like a complete moron here.

“Oh, boy! For your own sake, just STFU and focus on solving the problem you created in the first place!”

While there are still due payments left to be made, Joy also thanked those who gave her words of encouragement in her battle towards her ex.

She said in a post the following day, “To everyone who wholeheartedly chose to accompany me in our battle against this cruelty being imposed on the babies, I am very grateful for your love and concern for Ayrton and Fangio.

“To everybody, please know that I see all your yearning to put a stop to all the brutality we are experiencing right now and to fight for the rights of the babies. I am one with you, and I am so grateful for all the support.

“I might have initially chosen to endure thing privately, but seeing the amicable way of getting what's due isn't understandable to the barbaric. I think it is really best to stand for what is right.”

Joy then dedicated her battle to those who have fallen in the same category as she is.

“This is for all the women and children who were cheated on, abandoned, and continuously being abused,” she said.

“We should not let these abusive men who wrongly use their fame, power, and influence to abuse and get away with their viciousness.

“I am thanking you all as this #journeytojustice starts.”

This isn't the first time Joy pleaded for Jomari's financial support toward their children, Jom Christiano Fangio and Jom Christiano Ayrton.

In 2019, Jomari's son, Andre Yllana, sided with Joy after she accused him of infidelity and negligence.

As of this writing, Jomari's camp has not yet commented on this issue.
