Kim Seon-ho describes his ideal date, favorite scent, and more in magazine feature
Korean actor Kim Seon-ho recently graced a feature on Elle Korea where he had a photoshoot with a cozy, stay-at-home vibe.
The Start-Up actor posed in various classy and comfy outfits, doing simple home activities such as pouring himself a glass of water.
When asked what he would do when getting ready for a date, Kim Seon-ho answered that he would put on some cologne and prepare interesting conversation topics.
He also shared his personal preferences for scents.
“I use different colognes depending on the season. Including the ones I received as gifts, I have about 20 bottles of cologne, so they take up an entire section of my shelf.
"In the winter I like woody scents, and last summer I liked to use L'eau Kenzo Pour Homme. It was a refreshing and light scent so I carried it around in my bag and applied it often.”
Kim Seon-ho mentioned more about his dating style in a previous interview in Elle Korea's February 2020 issue.
The actor talked about his way of approaching someone he wants to get close to, and that he makes an effort to get to know that person well.
"I will put an effort to identify with that person. If that person likes something, I will also grow to like the same thing," he explained.
When the interviewer complimented Kim Seon-ho's high energy, the actor modestly said, "When I'm doing something which I don't have much confidence in myself, like shooting a pictorial, I would always be on high alert. I'm not sure if I'm just being a hindrance to everyone."
Despite his fast rise to fame, Kim Seon-ho showed he's still a pretty normal guy with a low-profile lifestyle and hobbies.
When asked what he does when he's dealing with something difficult, he replied, "I will go out for a walk. Walking is the best. I walked until 2 AM in the morning last night too, listening to music as I walked. I got to collect my thoughts."
He added, "I had a lot on my mind. I am afraid of something like this. There would be times when I might feel that I am taking for granted the work I'm doing.
"Hence, I would be wondering if I am doing it half-heartedly. Even if you are doing something you like, doing it repeatedly calls for a time to ponder about it and give a serious thought about it."
Kim Seon-ho also described himself as a friendly guy, saying, "I'm not sure about that myself. I'm not someone who can't live without friends. I generally get along well with lots of people but there's no particular person I'm close or frequently keep in touch with.
"There are four friends I'm close to at the moment. They also admit that they all get along well with me, but there isn't anyone whom I keep in touch frequently.
"I think it is because I don't talk much about myself with them since I have always been the person who listens in a conversation."
