K-pop queen IU exudes every bit of star power in her recently released music video 'Celebrity.'
South Korean actress-singer IU sets Uaenas into a frenzy as she releases her latest single, “Celebrity,” the pre-release track from her upcoming fifth full-length album.
In the music video, fans can see the singer in different scenarios, wearing the most beautiful frock and exuding every bit of star quality.
The three-minute track sends the message to fans that they are the true “celebrity” in IU's life.
She mentions in the lyrics, “You're a star painted with a left hand / Can't you see how beautiful a true uniqueness can be / You are my celebrity.”
IU also breaks into a mini breakdance while jiving into the pop track -- something that surprised UAENAs worldwide.

In a press release shared by IU's label, EDAM Entertainment, on Friday, January 15, it said that this would be the 27-year-old's first venture into more energetic, pop-beat genres.
It said, “'Celebrity' is a cheery bright pop sound which will invigorate listeners and that it's a music genre that IU is trying out for the first time.”
Moreover, the singer had already hinted at her plans for a comeback, raising anticipation from fans all over the world.
“I am planning to release a new album,” she said.
“I think it will be a full album, and I hope to release at least one song in January that can bring a sense of comfort to those who are suffering right now [with the pandemic].
“I think I will be able to release a song that is refreshing and gives people strength. I want to make UAENAs proud, so I will not waste a single moment in carelessness.”
In preparation for the release of the pre-release track and its music video, several fans have already been prepping for the big day on a grand scale.
In particular, IU's Pinoy fans have rented LED billboards in Metro Manila to commemorate the comeback of the K-pop queen.
The video provides a collection of videos and photos of the singer, alongside the words, “IU is back. #Celebrity” and “IU5 is coming! #Celebrity 01.27.21.”
