How to set up and use GMA Now

GMA Now is a mobile digital TV receiver that can be plugged into an Android phone and allows you to watch live TV on the go for free.

The thumb drive-sized dongle will give you access to GMA, GMA News TV, Heart of Asia, Hallypop, Dep-Ed TV, and all available free-to-air digital channels in your location and will be able to catch all your favorite Kapuso shows anytime and anywhere.

It comes equipped with many interactive features which will allow you to play interactive games, chat with your friends and get show updates on Groupee, and stream videos through the GMA Videos On-Demand feature.

Here's how to set up and use GMA Now.

1. Scan the QR code on the installation manual to go to the page where you can download the GMA Now app. If you don't have a QR scanner, just search for the GMA Now app on the app store.
2. After downloading and installing the app, plug the GMA Now device to your phone and launch the app.
3. When asked for app permissions, just tap "Allow."
3. Register your mobile number, first name, last name, birthday, gender then tap "Continue." Double check the information before tapping "Submit."
4. A one-time pin or OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. If you have not received one, just tap "Resend."
5. Enter this OTP to register you account. Tap "Close" to complete the registration.
6. Channel scanning will now begin. Wait for it to finish then you can start watching your favorite digital channels.
7. The next time you want to use GMA Now, just plug the dongle and launch the app.

An internet connection is not required to watch shows on GMA Now. However it is required for the interactive features such as the chat, video streaming and games.
