The Access Travel CEO posted a series of screenshots on Facebook from her Instagram Story, wherein she shared what happened to her unit after the robbery.
Angely was clearly frustrated when she found out that the floor, where her place is located, doesn't have a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera installed in the hallway.
She posted, “Please read very carefully because my place just got robbed on 35th floor of Amaia Skies Cubao and they don't have [a] single footage of what happened because apparently they have no budget for cctv for our hallways according to them when the police asked them for it and if they had it I wouldn't be doing this post- case solved.
Angely added that she found out that there were other robbery incidents, which took place in their condominium, too.
“Our families can't go to visit but the thieves can just go in and out like nothing. [Four] robberies in two weeks and we never got an email to alert us.
“Other people choose to stay quiet but I won't, if I went home last night I could have been raped or killed without anyone knowing about it. Yes, I live alone, no yaya or anything.”
She also vowed legal actions to the management of her condo building.
“Please share because this could happen to your daughters, partners, wives, kids, or anyone when you're not around [with] to protect them.
“A big residential establishment like this without cctv cameras? Really. Shame on all of you! I will sue all of you and make sure you pay everyone of us who lost our hard-earned money because all of you are useless at what you do. Take note up to now no single call from the admin! You pay P3-6M to these greedy people to possibly get murdered and no can save you because they might be part of it anyway.”
In a separate Instagram post, Angely Dub was clearly saddened that her home turned out to be a nightmare and that her condo unit was special for her, since she paid for it from her hard-earned money.
“You”ll be missed, I only spent a month here but this place will be haunting me my whole life- mentally and emotionally. This place became my best friend during the pandemic because it gave me hope of starting a new life outside being a businesswoman and traveling.
“Built it with my hard-earned money, initially bought it for our @accesstravelph showroom but plans didn't push through due to Covid 19 so I decided to stay here while figuring out life but another turning point and lost my new purpose again.”
“I was the 5th victim this 2021. It's just not right. I didn't get raped [or] killed, yes, I could have been if I went home because I know myself I would have fought them for sure. I will fight till the end against the management. This goes beyond paying for the damages, this is disrespecting our rights as humans and our hard-earned money. This is about being safe when you're asleep because you pay millions to real estate owners to be robbed. No one is safe honestly if this a modus going on around for years.”
GMA News Online released a statement from Amaia Land about the robbery incident and stressed that CCTVs have been installed in all required areas.
Amaia Skies Cubao project development manager Raizel Matibag said, “As for the lack of CCTVs in the hallway, we take this opportunity to confirm that the project was built to be compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and that Amaia had installed CCTVs in all the required areas,”
