A 15-year-old boy with autism was stabbed to death in Barangay 1-A, Magallanes, Davao City.

According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, police said the neighbors heard someone crying and shouting for help.

When the neighbors checked the area, they found the boy lying lifeless on the ground and covered in blood.

The victim was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

With the help of CCTV footage, the suspect was identified as a 55-year-old man and a resident of the same barangay.

Authorities said the video also showed the suspect leaving his house and stabbing the victim.

The suspect was arrested at past 2 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026. However, the knife believed to have been used in the crime was no longer recovered after the suspect allegedly threw it into a creek.

Police said the suspect claimed that the victim had been tampering with his bicycle.

The suspect is facing murder charges.
