Protégé holds first live elimination night this Sunday!

The levels of pressure are incredibly soaring as the Top 10 Protégés prepare to take the stage for the nerve-wracking live announcement at the SM Mall of Asia Centerstage.</p><p>

The Top 10 mentor-protégé tandems are: Mentor Jaya-Protégé Lovely Embuscado from Davao; Mentor Aiza Seguerra-Protégé Krizza Neri from Cagayan De Oro; Mentor Imelda Papin-Protégé Rosalyn Navarro from Bicol; Mentor Joey G.-Protégé Samantha Felizco from Dagupan; Mentor Rey Valera-Protégé SO WHAT singing group from Pampanga; Mentor Claire dela Fuente-Protégé Jensen Teñoso from Batangas; Mentor Gloc 9-Protégé Denise Barbacena from Mega Manila; Mentor Rachelle Ann Go-Protégé Nomer Limatog from Cebu; and Mentor Janno Gibbs-Protégé Lirah Bermudez from Iloilo.</p><p>

Who will be kicked off and who will move on to the next round of live gala performances? Who are the front runners and dark horses of the competition? Can they stand the fierce and emotional battle of the show now that big cash prizes are at stake for both the Ultimate protégé and his or her mentor?</p><p>

The pressure is on, not just for the Top 10 mentor-protégé tandems but also for their supporters and the viewing public. Voting will begin at the start of the live elimination on Sunday and the results will be revealed on the same night.

Protégé's three formidable and high-profile judges are renowned composer/musical director/writer Louie Ocampo, well-respected talent manager/director Bert de Leon and entertainment guru Joey de Leon. Kapuso Network's multi-awarded drama actor Dingdong Dantes serves as the Gala Presentor. </p><p>
