Actress Sam Pinto and PBA player Anthony Semerad tied the knot in a civil ceremony yesterday, March 8.

Set in the beautiful Conrad Manila, the nuptials of Mr. and Mrs. Semerad was witnessed by their closest family members, including Anthony's brother, David, and his wife, Gwen Zamora.

In an Instagram Story, Anthony asks Sam, “Mrs. Semerad, how are you?”

To which she answers, “Very good, thank you,” before the clip pans to their intimate rooftop dinner with their four guests.

Sam and Anthony have been hinting at the big day on their social media accounts and posting their picturesque pre-nuptial photos, shot in many parts of the country, as captured by famed photographer Pat Dy.

According to Pat Dy, he aimed for “beach fitness chic” as the theme of the shoot because it encapsulates the couple given their amazing physique and beautiful faces.

He said, “The look we went for was 'beach fitness chic.' The perfect theme for both of them! Hopefully, it inspires everyone to be more active and eat healthier, just like these two.

“It was a warm and beautiful afternoon. Our shoot was so chill, Sam even did her own makeup and hair!”

Pat Dy added, “As for me, I went home and started doing sit-ups and skipped my brownie nut desert. Thank you, Anthony, for that.”

In a post the day before the wedding, Sam said that the civil wedding is only the first half of the celebration as she and Anthony plan to have another ceremony come December.

She said, “Finally, after a year of planning… Part 1 of our wedding is happening tomorrow!

“Part 2 is happening in December when (hopefully) our family and friends can fly here with less hassle and stress.”

Sam and Anthony became a couple in August 2018. They announced their engagement a year later.
