IU is a fragile beauty in her music video teaser for her upcoming single "Flu"
Korean singer IU just dropped a teaser for her upcoming single "Flu" and it's a drastic contrast from her usual colorful, bubbly, music videos.
The 36-second teaser shows IU lying in bed and waking up to dance before collapsing. Her look is also completely different from her usual fresh look as she takes on a frail and pale image.
IU has also been teasing her upcoming album the past week, releasing videos on social media with the captions “bylac” and “hilac.”
On March 10, IU shared more details about her highly-anticipated album, including Lilac's tracklist. Her fifth full album includes the double title tracks "LILAC" and "Coin."
The 27-year-old singer wrote the lyrics for the two title songs and co-composed "Coin" and her pre-release track "Celebrity."
Korean singer Dean is also featured on the track "Round" and also took part in the song's composition and writing for the lyrics. Among the other artists who took part in songwriting and composition include Lee Chan Hyuk, Woogie, Naul, Penomeco, Junny and many others.
IU shared in a GQ Korea interview, December 2020 issue, that her upcoming album is "an ode to her entire 20s."
She said, "This is an album I wanted to make to say my goodbye greetings to those who have watched over my 20s and to say thanks to those who will watch until the very end of it."
