In a vlog, Chad Kinis revealed that he and MC Calaquian tested positive for COVD-19.
Comedian and content creator Chad Kinis admitted that he and some members of Beks Batallion have tested positive for COVID-19 following an outbreak in their house.
Before tested positive for COVID-19, Chad, MC, Lassy, and some of their friends live in one house.
In a vlog on his personal channel, Chad shared their friend Tonton Soriano was the first to catch the virus.
"Kaya po kami magkakahiwalay ng bahay kasi kailangan mag-quarantine ng bawat isa po sa amin. Nagkaroon po ng COVID outbreak dito sa bahay," he shared.
"Unang nagka-COVID si Tonton."
Tonton revealed that he recovered from what he first thought was a common headache in less than a day.
He shared, "Kasi ang naririnig natin kapag nagka-COVID ka raw, sobrang sakit ng ulo mo, wala kang panlasa, masakit ang lalamunan mo. Ganun 'yung mga sinasabi nila, hindi ka makahinga."
"Ang naramdaman ko lang kasi ay sakit ng ulo. Sumakit lang 'yung ulo ko, parang normal na 'Mawawala 'yan, iinom mo lang ng gamot, mawawala na.'
"Totoo naman, nawala naman agad. So hindi ko naisip na COVID pala 'yun."
Chad thought that the outbreak happened in their house because no one knew that one of them already has the virus.
"Actually, kaya siguro nagkaroon ng outbreak dito sa bahay kasi hindi namin napansin na may sintomas na talaga si Tonton.
"Parang wala lang, as in sobrang bilis lang.
"After non, sabi niya, 'Kumusta ka na ton?' 'Okay na ako.'
"So wala na, back to normal.
"So siguro ang mali lang po namin doon ay hindi namin napa-check agad si Tonton. Nawala siguro sa isip namin na, 'Oh, baka sintomas 'yan.'"
After Tonton, Chad was the next to test positive for COVID-19.
"Nanghiram po kasi ako ng lip balm kay Tonton," Chad admitted.
"Ako naman, hiram hiram kay Tonton kasi magkasama kami sa bahay, lagi kaming magkakasama dito.
"Nag-lip balm ako then after several days, nilagnat ako. So nung nilagnat po ako, agad-agad, nag-quarantine ako dito sa bahay, hindi kaagad ako lumabas.
"Actually nung sumama 'yung pakiramdam ko, sabi ko nung ang sama ng pakiramdam ko, higa ako sa kuwarto tapos sabi ko parang lalagnatin ako, kinulong ko agad 'yung sarili ko sa kuwarto.
"Nag-quarantine agad ako."
Because of the symptoms, Chad had his swab test and he tested positive. In effect, all of their housemates also underwent RT-PCR test, and all tested negative.
"Nung nag-RT-PCR, nag-negative si Tonton. Ibig sabihin, natapos na 'yung quarantine niya pero mayroon po siyang antibodies," Chad shared.
Tonton added, "Doon lang namin na-confirm na sa akin pala galing."
After the test, some of them temporarily leave the house to undergo self-quarantine.
Chad and Tonton have fully recovered, but MC tested positive in a subsequent swab test.
"Nung nag-quarantine na naman kami, several days papa-check ng RT-PCR. 'Yun na nga po.
"Nag-check ulit si Kuya MC at Kuya Lassy. Negative po si Kuya Lassy, pero nag-positive si Kuya MC."
In the end, Chad reminded everyone to remain safe from the virus. He also gave some tips to those who tested positive.
"Ito talaga 'yung usapan namin, 'wag kayong malulungkot 'pag nagkaroon kayo ng COVID," Chad advised.
"Wag kayong magpapatalo sa depresyon, sa anxiety, sa stress kasi it will lessen your immune system. Bababa.
"Nag-positive man sa COVID pero hindi dapat mawala 'yung positivity sa buhay."
