'Magkaagaw' actor Dion Ignacio weds non-showbiz girlfriend

After teasing his fans about his upcoming nuptials, Magkaagaw actor Dion Ignacio finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend and mother of his child, Aileen Sison, at the Viridis Country Side Garden in Cavite.

On Instagram, Dion posted a few snapshots from his big day as he wore a beautiful three-piece suit made by Lloyd Arceo, while his wife wore a majestic wedding dress created by Carl Arcusa.

The event happened before NCR and other provinces went into an enhanced community quarantine again.

“Officially married!!!” he said.

“Sa teleserye ko lang nagagawa 'to, ngayon totoo na! At ngayon ay nagsasama kami ng tama sa mata ng Diyos.

“Dreams really do come true. I can't express how happy I am right now. Sobrang saya na may basbas na ni Lord ang aming samahan bilang mag-asawa.”

Dion added, “May He strengthen our relationship and grow forever in faith and love Nagpapasalamat din ako sa mga taong sumuporta sa kasal namin and for making our dream wedding come to life.”

Friends of Dion and Aileen from the industry didn't forget to greet the happy couple. Among the well-wishers were Rodjun Cruz, Mark Herras, Sheena Halili, Tom Rodriguez, and Betong Sumaya.

The Kapuso actor announced his engagement with his non-showbiz partner after sharing a wonderful set of prenuptial photos taken by Nice Print Photography.

It seems like his plans to wed Aileen have been in his mind, as many fans would recall that Dion expressed his eagerness to settle down with his girlfriend after introducing their daughter to the press.

In a previous Pep.ph report, he was quoted as saying “Pakakasalan ko [siya] siyempre. Sa kanya ako may anak, ayoko ng may ibang babae pa... Ayoko ng magulong pamilya."

He added, “Siguro, kailangan pang mag-ipon at paghandaan nang mabuti pero hindi naman kailangang magarbo, e, 'di ba? Basta magpakasal kayo.”
