Meet Alexander Lee, the leading man of 'My Korean Jagiya'

Alexander Lee

Alexander Lee was born on July 29, 1998 to his South Korean mother and Half-Portuguese, Half-Chinese father. He spent a good part of his formative years in Macau.

Multilingual

Xander speaks seven languages, namely Korean, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese. During his time in the country, he has also picked up a bit of Filipino, as well.

U-Kiss

In 2008, Xander debuted in South Korea as part of the K-pop boy group 'U-Kiss' after being scouted in public. Their group is known for their hits such as "Man Man Ha Ni" and "Bingeul Bingeul," the latter becoming one of the highest chart-topping singles in the Philippines back in 2010.

Leaving U-Kiss

In 2011, Xander left U-Kiss along with his fellow member, Kibum. During his recent interview on the channel JAYKEEOUT x VWVB, Xander revealed that he was pressured by the company to leave due to his "lack of popularity."

Aside from being a K-pop idol, Xander is also a dedicated actor.
