The video, originally shared on Twitter by Eyewitness News reporter CeFaan Kim, also showed how some personnel didn't render to the victim's aid despite witnessing the crime.

Additionally, the woman was said to have been kicked multiple times resulting in a fractured pelvis and contusion to the head.

The viral clip has garnered more than 8 million views on CeFaan Kim's Twitter account and more than 2 million views on Diet Prada's account, gaining a lot of attention from both local and international celebrities alike.

On Instagram Story, KC Concepcion wrote, “You think Asian Hate in America solely involves the Chinese community? Think again -- apparently, Filipinos are also under fire and for NO VALID REASON AT ALL! I swear, [if] you hurt ONE Filipino, you hurt ALL.

“What the hell did we do to you? Our people have migrated to America for generations and have fallen in love with your country as our own. History of Filipino-American relations speaks for itself. Why ruin it now?”

She added, “Don't stunt our ability to help provide growth and power to your economy, most especially in the health care industry -- not just in the US but around the world.

“Don't wait 'til YOU are hospitalized with your LIFE in the hands of Filipino-American doctors and nurses who can choose whether or NOT to keep you alive.”

US President Joe Biden had already condemned these hate crimes against Asian Americans and said these acts are very “un-American” and that he will put in place an initiative at the Department of Justice to address the issue.

He tweeted earlier today, March 31, “We can't be silent in the face of rising violence against Asian Americans. That's why today, I'm taking additional steps to respond -- including establishing an initiative at the Department of Justice to address anti-Asian crimes.

“These attacks are wrong, un-American, and must stop.”
