By Marah Ruiz

Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista is looking forward to starting work for her upcoming series I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.

It will be her first teleserye in three years. Her last one was My Korean Jagiya along with Alexander Lee which ran from 20017 to 2018.

Heart previously described I Left My Heart in Sorsogon as a "teleserye with a lot of Chanel."

"I'm very very excited about that. I've been so so excited! It's been three years since my last soap so medyo kailangan ko na as an artist ng some kind of a release. I'm very very excited about that," she revealed in a recent online interview.

Heart will be starring opposite leading man Richard Yap in the series. It will be the first time for the two of them to work together.

"I haven't met him actually. I've never met him or spoken to him, but we do have common friends and they have really nice things to say about him. I'm very very excited because it's so important for me to work with someone that's nice," she shared.

She also revealed that she already feels a connection with the character that Richard will be playing in the series.

"I'm very excited and I really love his character. I can't really reveal his character but I feel like I've known his character for so long. I can't wait to work around his character," Heart said.

Aside from that, Heart shared that she will actually have two leading men in the show.

"I recently did a Zoom meeting and we did like a screentest where I met different actors. Ang gagagaling nilang lahat so I think they're having a hard time choosing," she said.

Heart is looking forward to meeting her other leading man.

"Actually, it's a beautiful love story. I'm very very excited kung sino 'yung isa pang leading man kasi parehong mabigat 'yung character. They have to be equally amazing and talented and mahirap pumili," she explained.
