Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos show 'Love You Stranger' lock-in taping
Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia showed how she prepared and adjusted to her lock-in taping for upcoming GTV series, Love You Stranger.
In a recent vlog, Gabbi documented the days leading up to her first ever lock-in taping as well as her first days in lock-in.
Gabbi began her vlog by showing how she does her own voice overs at home.
"Right now I'm going to be doing a voiceover for my other show called IRL.
"What we usually do is we tape the episodes and I do my own voice overs here at home just using my laptop."
Then, she narrated what to expect from her lock-in taping.
"It's going to be like three weeks. Around 17 to 20 days and we're going to be in Batangas.
"It's my first time to experience this kind of taping. It's kind of new so I'm a bit nervous.
"I don't know if I'm overpacking or I've underpacked.
"Yesterday, I was in All-Out Sundays, so I asked Kyline [Alcantara], I asked Julie [San Jose], and Barbie [Forteza] what are the right things to bring.
"They suggested I should bring my own dipper or tabo because we don't know if there's a bidet there or if we'll ever need it.
"Sabi rin nila, maybe I won't have time to do my laundry so I should pack clothes na good for three weeks."
One of Gabbi's co-star in Love You Stranger is her real-life boyfriend Khalil Ramos, who made a sweet gesture for her.
"He arranged my scripts, dineliver kasi sa house niya 'yung script ko. And when he delivered it to me, here in my house, naka-binder na siya. I think he got me six binders.
"Hindi namin ito puwede mawala, these are our babies," Gabbi said.

The next day, Gabbi spent the day packing for her three-week taping. "I got swabbed yesterday, so now I should stay at home.
"I feel so anxious about packing kasi baka may kalimutan ako tapos nasa Batangas kami."

In the later part of the vlog, Gabbi described her character in the show, "The whole look of my character for Love You Stranger is very close to my fashion style. More on flowy dresses, very feminine. Very white and pastels. I'm excited to dress up for my character.
"I'm going to be playing a production designer, so mas on-the-go 'yung mga shoes."
The Kapuso actress also gave a quick look into her walk-in closet. "I added shelves para mas maraming ma-store na shoes. It can fit 200 pairs.
"Bukod sa nadagdagan 'yung shelves ng sneaker cabinet ko I also arranged my bags. I added an acrylic riser, it looks like a store."
Fast forward to the lock-in taping, Gabbi gives an update on Love You Stranger's taping.
"It's now our second day in lock-in, today's our day off.
"Yesterday's taping was really smooth.
"I'm so happy that we're now able to follow the proper working hours.
"We still follow the safety protocols," she said.
Gabbi later on showed the view around their hotel in Rosario, Batangas, and got ready to spend her day off cooking with Khalil, using the air fryer and induction cooker they brought.
