Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song introduce their first baby, Dakota
Hollywood child stars Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song have publicly introduced their first child, Dakota Culkin. Their baby boy was born on April 5 in Los Angeles and named after Macaulay's late sister who passed away in 2008.
“Mother, Father and Baby are all healthy and happy, we are overjoyed.” a statement from Macaulay's publicist reads.
According to reports, the couple has been privately dating since 2017 after meeting on the set of 2019 comedy-drama film Changeland.
In an interview with Esquire, Brenda described her relationship with Macaulay. “You can't be around him and not be happy.”
The actress also wrote a message for Macaulay in 2020 for the actor's 40th birthday. She posted a photo of her with Macaulay dressed up in matching plaid tops with their names written across the back.
Brenda wrote, "Happy 40th birthday to this magical being. I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you. But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won't even see this because you don't ever use instagram. Hahaha. My unicorn that I never thought could exist, I am the luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you."
Macaulay rose to fame in the blockbuster 90s comedy movie franchise Home Alone. He also starred in the late Michael Jackson's "Black or White" music video and testified in defense of the late pop legend, claiming Michael never molested him. Macaulay dismissed allegations against Michael Jackson saying it was "absolutely ridiculous. He retired from acting in 1994 to live a normal life and later on married actress Rachel Miner in 1998 and divorced in 2002. He dated actress Mila Kunis from 2002 to 2011. He later dated Brenda in 2017. Brenda was a Disney star from 2002 and appeared in shows such as That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
