Super Junior's Kyuhyun vocals can be compared to a perfect blend in 'Coffee'

Super Junior Kyuhyun officially greets the season of spring with his latest single, “Coffee,” which is out now on all digital and streaming platforms.

On Tuesday, April 13, the K-pop idol and balladeer released his medium-tempo pop ballad genre “Coffee,” which talks about the feelings of a man who falls in love with his best friend but feels jealous because he couldn't find the courage to confess his love for her.

Like the meaning of the song, Kyuhyun presented the same vibe in his music video by telling the story of two best friends, played once again by Gong Myoung and Chae Soo-bin, and their seeming “love story” while on campus.

Despite the two having mutual love for one another, the boy immediately felt jealous when a classmate of theirs confessed his feelings for the girl on White Day, the day where boys and men present gifts and express their love.

The song's music video is the backstory of the same lovers in Kyuhyun's previous single “Moving On,” which showed the same actors having a fall out in their relationship.

“Coffee” was created by hitmaker KENZIE, who wrote and also composed Kyuhyun's other solo songs like “At Gwanghwamun” and “A Million Pieces.”

With the latest track released, Kyuhyun's “Seasons” project has finally completed its full circle as it started with the summer track “Dreaming” in 2020.
