Newsweek reported "At least 46% of Americans would support a presidential run from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, according to a new poll." Here's how The Rock responded

A poll from Piplsay showed how Americans think of Hollywood stars as politicians, and results showed 58% of Americans support Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Matthew McConaughey for political office.

The poll also showed "30% of Americans would like to see Angelina Jolie run for president," while another 22% would vote for Tom Hanks.

Over 30,000 American adults were part of the survey.

Dwayne reposted an article from Newsweek, saying the votes are "humbling" and he would be his honor to serve the people.

"Humbling. I don't think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club - but if it ever happens it'd be my honor to serve you, the people"

The actor also revealed in a past post that he once considered working for the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency).

"Fun fact: in college, my goal was to eventually work for the CIA. Until my criminal justice professor and advisor (Dr. Paul Cromwell) convinced me that the best operative I could become for the agency is one that also had a law degree."

He also told GQ UK in a November 2016 interview, "I'll be honest, I haven't ruled politics out, I'm not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure.

"I can't deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first."
