Despite having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APAS), “Bossa Girl” Sitti Navarro is expecting her second child with her husband, Joey Ramirez!

On Saturday, April 17, the singer shared a photo with her entire family in their mini pool while showing and cradling her baby bump.

Sitti wore a modern checkered bikini that showed off her amazing physique and her growing tummy.

“Our pasalubong from Bacolod, our surprise gift from the Lord,” she wrote in the caption.

“I have PCOS and APAS; conceiving is not the easiest. Thank you, Jesus, for entrusting us with another miracle.”

Sitti even quoted a phrase from the Bible that said, “Children are a gift from the Lord; They are a reward from Him.”

Sitti was immediately congratulated by some of her showbiz friends, including Miriam Quiambao, Princess Velasco, Anna Fegi, and so much more.

This is not the first time Sitti Navarro opened up about pregnancy difficulties while diagnosed with APAS, which still has no cure to this day.

Before her pregnancy with her first child, Isaiah Dañelle, Sitti underwent two failed intrauterine inseminations (IUI) before learning that three out of five categories of APAS applied to her.

According to the singer, she had: Category 1 - no blocking antibodies, Category 2 - thrombophilia (abnormality of blood coagulation), and Category 5 - elevated natural killer cells that “might attack the baby.”

To protect her baby, Sitti was taking aspirin, huge doses of antibiotics, and heparin, an anticoagulant or blood thinner that prevents the formation of blood clots.

Despite this, Sitti gave birth to her child on November 4, 2018, and is now expecting her second.

Besides Sitti, other celebrities are also diagnosed with rare medical conditions like APAS. Take a look at who they are and how they overcame their health problems in the gallery below:
