The two recalled their experience working together for Moon Lovers" Scarlet Heart Ryeo, which tells the love story of Hae-soo (IU), a woman who travels back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty, and falls in love with Goryeo's fourth prince Wang So (Lee Joon-gi). Among the other actors who starred in the drama include Kang Ha-neul, EXO's Baekhyun, and Nam Joo-hyuk.

When the topic of whether there would be a part two for the drama, and a continuation for Wang So and Hae-soo's love story, Lee Joon-gi admitted that it would be difficult to pick up where they left off in the story. However, IU is still hopeful a reunion for their two characters can happen. She said, “I think all of us who filmed the drama probably feel the same way. We had such a great time filming it, and even now, there are so many people who love the drama. Isn't that amazing?”

Lee Joon Gi agreed to this and mentioned, “Honestly, we never imagined that there would be so many people all around the world who love it.”

IU added, "If the conditions are right for us to all gather together, there is no reason not to do it.” She also pointed out that the actors who appeared in the drama had all reached great stardom and were busy working on other projects. “But if you're asking me about my opinion only, there is no reason to not do it,” she stated.

Lee Joon Gi then says jokingly, “I was afraid you'd say, 'Why should I?'” He also commended IU for her acting throughout the drama, particularly in one of the unreleased finale episode scenes. “Our actress Lee Ji Eun (IU) showed the most amazing emotional acting that day. I wondered how someone could cry so sorrowfully. Even now, I cry when I see your emotional acting in that scene.”

IU described the memorable dramatic scenes and regrets it didn't make it to the final cut. “I do feel sad that we couldn't show fans the scene where Wang So and Hae Soo meet, but your visuals were also amazing. In the modern day scene, where you have short hair and are dressed in a suit. Your visuals in that scene where you handed me a handkerchief--it was really a shame that it didn't make it on TV. Your fans would have gone wild if that had aired.”
