
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo has arrived in Florida, USA, ahead of the 69th Miss Universe pageant, which is set to take place on May 16.

On Tuesday, April 20, Miss Universe Philippines creative director Jonas Gaffud shared the update on social media alongside a photo of Rabiya aboard a plane.
“Rabiya Mateo and team are now in Florida for final preparations prior to hotel check in on May 6,” he said.
The Ilongga beauty queen and her team have also received a warm welcome from fans upon her arrival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

According to 24 Oras, before flying to Florida, Rabiya was invited in an exclusive dinner in the iconic Japanese restaurant Yamashiro in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Last Saturday, April 17, Rabiya reignited pageant fans' enthusiasm with her Athena-inspired look on social media.
“Athena, goddess of war, wisdom and craft,” she wrote in the caption.
The Miss Universe 2020 coronation night will be held on May 16 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Rabiya is eyeing the fifth Miss Universe title for the Philippines, following in Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray's (2018) footsteps.
