Baekhyun, member of K-Pop boy group EXO, has now sold over a million copies of his newest mini album 'Bambi,' making it his second million selling album.

Released last March 30, his third mini-album sold 1,006,835 copies as of April 18 within twenty days since its release.

Prior to its release, it was already predicted by many that he was to get another million selling album after 'Bambi' received 800,000 pre-orders.

He is now the first million selling artist for both solo and group activities that Korea has seen in 20 years after K-Pop icon Seo Taiji.

The K-Pop idol's previous mini album 'Delight' sold 1,018,746 copies as of June 30, 2020 and earned him the first 'million seller' title in Korea, 19 years since Kim Gun Mo's 'Another Days.'

His group, EXO, also became 'quintuple million sellers' with their 2018 album “Don't Mess Up My Tempo.”

In total, Baekhyun has seven albums that each sold over a million copies.

His album 'Bambi' swept foreign and domestic charts by ranking first on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 60 regions and on China's QQ Music and Kugou Music's Best-Selling Digital Album Charts.

The album also debuted No.1 on the United World Chart's solo and overall rankings with his pre-orders, making it one of the biggest debuts on the chart this year.

Baekhyun recently announced that he will be enlisting for the military on May 6, the day of his birthday.

On April 8, EXO teased their fans that a comeback was well underway through a teaser video for a new music video. This was announced to the public to celebrate the group's ninth anniversary.
