The star-studded cast of one of the biggest action films in history, Avengers: Endgame, marked its second year since it was released in 2019.

The film, originally released on April 25, 2019, was a big cinematic event for Marvel fans and superhero aficionados alike as they saw how Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, and so much more reverse the damage caused by Thanos's snap in the previous film.

The stellar cast, including Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, who played Iron Man and the Hulk respectively in the film, took to social media to recall those days and got really nostalgic about the film.

On his social media account, Robert Downey Jr. shared a clip from one of the shoots and said, “I cannot believe it's been two years since Endgame… #LoveYouAll3000.”

Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo shared an all-cast photo from their premiere and wrote, “I can't believe it's been two years since the premiere of #AvengersEndgame. Love you all 3000.”

He also expressed his excitement for what's to come in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he congratulated stars Tom Hiddleston and Jeremy Renner, who played Loki and Hawkeye respectively in the films. The two actors and their characters are set to release their own specials very soon.

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo also took the time to celebrate the second anniversary by posting some never-before-seen photographs on the superhero film set.

“Two years since the release of Endgame…” they wrote on Twitter.

Since its release, Avengers: Endgame received critical praise for its direction, acting, musical score, action sequence, visual effects, and emotional weight, with critics lauding its culmination of the 22-film story.

The film grossed nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, surpassing its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War in just eleven days, making it the second highest-grossing film of all time after James Cameron's Avatar.

The film also received numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy Award, Critics' Choice Award, Grammy Award, MTV Movie Award, People's Choice Awards, and so much more.
