Ruffa Gutierrez, to pursue a bachelor's degree after 34 years in showbiz

Actress-TV host and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez just shared a surprising, positive news on Instagram, as she announced that she is going back to school to pursue a Bachelor's Degree.

The former That's Entertainment star revealed that through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), she was able to enroll in the Philippine Women's University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Communication Arts.

For more than three decades, we've seen Ruffa star in countless TV shows, films, and even in her family's very own reality show.

We've also seen her raise her two beautiful daughters Lorin and Venice through the years, while staying active in showbiz at the same time.

Now, Ruffa is ready to begin a new chapter in her life by furthering her education.

She also emphasized that more than fulfilling a personal dream, she wants to be a good example for her children.

Part of her Instagram post reads, “After 34 years of working in the entertainment industry, I have chosen to further my education.

“Not only do I want to fulfill a long-held dream and take control of the next chapter of my life, I want to set a good example for my children.
