Rabiya Mateo admits watching basketball just to see her crush
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo is a beauty queen, who's always calm and composed, but like any other girl, she admitted to fangirling over her basketball crush, Kobe Paras.
During a meeting with the Filipino community in Los Angeles, California, Rabiya revealed that she didn't understand basketball but she still watched it just to see Kobe play.
"I know nothing about basketball pero nanood talaga ako ng UAAP para lang makita siya, Kobe Paras," she said.
"Kahit hindi ko na maintindihan 'yung nangyayari, hinanap ko, 'Nasaan si number 6?'"
Kobe's jersey number was 6 back when he was still playing for the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
Rabiya also bared her plans to enter show business in the Philippines when she comes home in July.
She said, "I might go into acting. I might go into horror. It's challenging kasi, it's very difficult to scare people."
When asked who among the local celebrities she wants to work with, Rabiya answered Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, and Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos.

Meanwhile, Kobe has already left the University of the Philippines after one season. He decided to bring his talent to the United States to train for East West Private, the same company handling Kai Sotto.
