Bianca Umali reaches 1M TikTok followers

What a TikTok comeback it has been for Kapuso actress Bianca Umali.

As of today, June 7, the Legal Wives star has 1.2 million followers on the popular video-sharing social networking app.

Impressive considering that Bianca left the app almost six years and never gave it much thought since then.

“It wasn't really just a break. Honestly, I had no plans on getting back into it. I think the last time I was on TikTok was back in 2015-2016 pa,” Bianca told GMANetwork.com.

Bianca's return to the app started after she retrieved her account, which according to Bianca was “somehow hacked.”

She continued. “But I never cared about it because I was inactive na din naman.

“One day, I just thought of trying out one of the trending dance challenges because of all the free time I had being locked-in for work inside a hotel room.”

Bianca had no intention of posting the video but eventually decided to post it for fun.

“I never expected anything out of it, like positive reactions or overwhelming support. I did the video because I missed dancing. Tapos ayon! Ang saya na nakakapagpasaya ako ng mga tao at nakakasayaw na ako ulit,” said Bianca.

Reaching a million followers was something that Bianca didn't imagine when she reactivated her account.

For this, she is grateful to the fans and the public for allowing her to share her passion while keeping them entertained as well.

“I love dancing so much and I'm happy that I now have a platform for it. Also, I like making people smile especially through the things that I love doing.”
