How did Team Kramer manage to lower their P79,000 electricity bill?
Team Kramer became a trending topic back in June 2020 after the family revealed the power bill of their sprawling mountaintop house reached a whopping P79,000.
Their rustic industrial home took over two years to build and it features advanced technology such as an automatic gate, a water filtration system, and an air conditioner for every room in the house.

Currently, the family of five has found an environment-friendly solution to lower their electricity consumption. From a high P79,000, their power bill now ranges between P29,000 to P35,000 a month.
In an episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Doug Kramer shared that solar panels they have invested on proved to be economical.
"Nagulat talaga kami, napa-upo ako," Doug narrated his reaction when he first saw their P79,000 electricity bill.
The large bill gave him the idea to have solar panels installed on the house.
"Actually, planado lahat 'yung paglagay namin ng solar panels sa bahay kasi malaki 'yung space and madami kaming heavy appliances and we were staying in sa bahay," he said.
He continued, "For us, it was the mindset of investment, gastos tayo ng konti ngayon...as the years go by mababawi naman 'yun."
Following the installation of the solar panels, Team Kramer has consistently kept their power bill under P35,000.
