The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is back!

After more than a year of inactivity, the NCAA is up and ready to resume sporting action with some adjustments fit for the times.

But before all that, a star-studded opening ceremony will take place today, June 13, at the state-of-the-art Studio 7 of GMA Network.

Representatives from all member schools led by NCAA management committee chairman Fr. Victor Calvo Jr., O.P. and NCAA Season 96 Policy Board president Fr. Clarence Victor C. Marquez, O.P. will grace the momentous occasion.

Adding more glitz and star power to the event is the presence of Kapuso stars, with real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos serving as hosts.

Joining the two are Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96 hosts Sophia Senoron and Martin Javier.

Meanwhile, here are the Kapuso celebrities who will represent each of the member schools at the ceremonial parade:

• Colegio de San Juan de Letran: Mikee Quintos and Radson Flores
• San Sebastian College: Jamir Zabarte and Zonia Mejia
• University of Perpetual Help System Dalta: Shaira Diaz and Jeremy Sabido
• Mapua University: Gab Yabut and Ayra Mariano
• Arellano University: Troy Noriega and Angela Alarcon
• San Beda University: Manolo Pedrosa and Crystal Paras
• Jose Rizal University: Kim de Leon and Lexi Gonzales
• De La Salle-College of St. Benilde: Kimson Tan and Pam Prinster
• Emilio Aguinaldo College: Carlo Tingtungco and Ysabel Ortega
• Lyceum of the Philippines University: Brent Valdez and Kyline Alcantara

Special performances will be given by Kapuso stars Aicelle Santos, Kyline Alcantara, and Lani Misalucha, among others.

Expect more surprises and entertainment as Season 96 of the NCAA officially raises the curtain today, June 13, 5:05 p.m. on GTV.
