Heart Evangelista returns to primetime in 'I Left My Heart in Sorsogon' with Richard Yap, Paolo Contis

Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista will mark her return to GMA Telebabad through the upcoming romance-drama story I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.

In this primetime offering, Heart will play Celeste Estrellado, a young woman from Sorsogon who has reinvented herself in Manila as a fashion designer and socialite.

Celeste seemingly has it all because she is also dating the most eligible bachelor in town, Tonito Wenceslao III, portrayed by Richard Yap.

Although she is already celebrated in Manila, Celeste makes an unexpected discovery about herself after going on an unplanned visit to her hometown, Sorsogon, to take care of some family matters.

While in Sorsogon, Celeste unexpectedly sees again her ex-boyfriend, Mikoy (Paolo Contis).

Will Celeste choose to leave her heart and live with Mikoy in Sorsogon? Or will she choose to come back to her life in Manila with Tonito?

Joining Heart, Richard, and Paolo in I Left My Heart in Sorsogon are Kapuso Breakout Star Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.

Kyline portrays the role of Tiff Wenceslao, Tonito's daughter while Mavy, in his very first teleserye, is Basti Estrellado, Celeste's estranged half-brother.

Tiff lives in Manila while Basti stays in Sorsogon with his family. Can fate find a way to bring together Tiff and Basti?

Also included in the star-studded cast are Elizabeth Oropesa, Rey PJ Abellana, Shamaine Buencamino, Aubrey Miles, and Marina Benepayo.

I Left My Heart in Sorsogon is under the helm of Senior Program Manager Redgynn Alba and esteemed director Mark Sicat Dela Cruz together with concept creator and creative consultant Jojo Nones, and head writer John Roque.

I Left My Heart in Sorsogon will surely teach us that looking back is just as important as moving forward.
