Will 'Pepito Manaloto' end soon? Will Michael V. transfer to another network? The popular comedian answers these burning questions. Watch the video HERE:

Rumors have been hounding Kapuso star and content creator Michael V. lately, including the possibility of him transferring to another network and for his long-running program Pepito Manaloto to finally end.

In his latest vlog, Michael V., whom we fondly call Bitoy, finally addressed these rumors.

From the very beginning of his vlog, Bitoy already made clear that there is no truth to such rumors.

“Hindi. Hindi po totoong mawawala sa ere ang Pepito Manaloto at hindi rin ako lilipat ng ibang network,” Bitoy clarifies. “O, ayan. Malinaw na.”

At one point in the vlog, Bitoy also emphasized that he is loyal to the Kapuso network and the viewers of Pepito Manaloto.

“More than the fact na loyal ako sa network, mas loyal ako sa audience namin.”

He also added, “…I have a program contract with GMA at automatically ibig sabihin hindi ako lilipat or naghahanap ng malilipatang istasyon.”

Bitoy also explained why the show took on the direction of doing the prequel or “Book Zero” titled Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kuwento.

“Ang dahilan ng pansamantalang pagtigil nung regular story ng Pepito Manaloto with the regular cast ay humahanap lang kami ng diskarte kung paano kami makakagawa ng mas magandang presentation nung show.”

It can be recalled that due to onset of the pandemic, some of the cast of Pepito Manaloto: Kuwento Kuwento were forced to shoot from home.

Bitoy and the rest of the program's creative team knew that viewers have noticed this change and feared that people might soon lose interest in the show if the cast are not together in scenes.

So, this is why they decided to change the direction or presentation of the program.

He said, “…at that point, kinailangan ko lang talaga umatras and let other people figure out kung paano gagawin ng tama o paano gagawing mas maganda 'yung show.”

He also lauded the creative team of the show for coming up with the idea of doing a prequel.

“Kasi sa totoo lang, kahit gaano katalino ang tingin ng iba sa'kin. Hindi po ko ganun kagaling. (chuckles)

“Marami rin akong kabobohan sa buhay. Alam ng asawa ko 'yan. Nadadaan lang sa filter 'tsaka sa editing.

“Ang dapat n'yo talagang palakpakan ay 'yung creative team ng show. Sila 'yung laging nakasuporta at palaging may isa sa kanila na parang alam 'yung susunod na dapat gawin.”

In the same vlog, Bitoy gave a more detailed explanation of exactly how the planning and production of the show 'Pepito Manaloto' is done.

Plus, he also gave a peek into his family's experience with the COVID-19 vaccine.
