"To be acknowledged by Gawad Urian makes me feel like a winner already," says Glaiza de Castro, who is nominated for Best Actress in the upcoming Gawad Urian.
For the third time, Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro has been nominated for Best Actress at the prestigious Gawad Urian awards for her role as Jinka in Midnight in a Perfect World.
In a message sent to GMANetwork.com, the Nagbabagang Luha star said that she already felt honored by the nomination.
"Di ko po talaga in expect pero to be acknowledged by Gawad Urian makes me feel like a winner already," she said.
"Ang huhusay kaya ng mga co-nominees ko!"
Glaiza's fellow nominees for the Best Actress Award are Jasmine Curtis Smith, Alessandra de Rossi, Charlie Dizon, Shaina Magdayao, Bela Padilla, Lovi Poe, Sue Ramirez, and Cristine Reyes.
Now that Glaiza has done different genres of films, she expressed her desire to do action and comedy.
She added, "Gusto ko pong i-try ang action or comedy. I want to learn more about timing sa comedy and sa action naman mas madevelop 'yung skills ko sa martial arts."
