Gabbi Garcia: 'Mark my words, I will never leave this network.'
Kapuso It Girl Gabbi Garcia cried tears of joy during her virtual contract signing for GMA Artist Center on September 23.
After messages of support for Gabbi from fellow celebrities were shown, the 22-year-old actress couldn't help but get a bit teary-eyed.
She said, "Naiyak ako, hindi ako prepared sa video na 'yon."
Gabbi continued by thanking the Kapuso Network, which has become her second home.
"I'm just so grateful. GMA has been my second family for almost eight years. I literally grew up with GMA behind my back and beside me through everything."
The All-Out Sundays host genuinely shared what being a Kapuso means to her, "In GMA we don't treat each other as co-workers, I can still remember my first meeting with Mr. Simoun Ferrer in Artist Center, I was just a girl who wanted to dream big. I just can't believe that everyone is still supporting me."
Likewise, Gabbi looked back on her eight years in the industry. "I've learned to love my co-workers through the years. I appreciate the bosses for trusting me, thank you so much po for trusting me since day one, it means so much to me.
"Everybody in GMA can just say hi to anybody, I have mini conversations with the bosses without feeling intimidated. GMA has a heart talaga, Kapuso talaga. Napakabait ng mga tao, everyone is so welcoming. Importante na makatao at may puso ang mga tao and sa aking presence," Gabbi said.
"'Yung community natin sa GMA it's not all about work, we also build a relationship outside of work and I am so blessed to have these kinds of people.
"Thank you so much, I'm looking forward to more years with all of you. Sana hindi rin po kayo magsawa sa kadaldalan ko.
Gabbi also said she doesn't plan on ever leaving the network. "We treat everyone as family. Mark my word, I will never leave this network. I'm really grateful for everyone."
One of Gabbi's goals for her new contract is to try various roles ranging from action to girl to girl romances. She has also been vocal about the possibility of joining beauty pageants.
